Biography

Background

Aaron J. Wiggins was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio.  He lives a life that is God centered and respectful of the men & women who helped raise him and shape him to be the man he is today. Aaron has lived in the city of Baltimore for 12 years, beginning as a college student at Morgan State University. As a graduate of Morgan he was a noted scholar-student athlete as a 3 time all conference player and 2 year team captain and Scholar-Baller recipient. He led the team to its first winning seasons in 23 years.

 

Along with tackling the balance of fulltime athletic requirements and school work, Aaron also was 2 year president of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee and Conference Representative, Student Representative for Morgan States Fiscal Integrity committee, member of the Sociology Club, Head of the CHAMPS Life Skills committee, Marketing Director for Operation Potential and pledged the Fraternity so nice they had to name it twice Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. As a sociology major Aaron was determined to take this knowledge and give back to those who need exposure and opportunity to reach higher heights. Aaron entered the office of America Works Inc. a company that focused on employment opportunities. This career gave him the gratifying opportunity to change the lives of underpriviledged populations, veterans & ex-offender through employment opportunities. For 6 years he has worked his way from an entry level position to Director of Operations. This was indeed the power of God moving him into the right place to fight for the right cause.

 

 

Acting

In the last several years Aaron has began to diligently work on his acting. Initially starting with the play “Lil Shop of Horror,” he later played more principal roles in the musical "Applause" and "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" through the direction of Dr. Gregory Branch founder of Unified Voices out of John Hopkins University Medical. While working on a production with actress Morgan McCoy on another Baltimore movie project he was invited down to audition for a production with renowned author Iris Bolling. As a result of the time and dedication put forth in making these projects work and establishing great relationships with the cast and crew, Aaron has truly been able to pursue the opportunities and blessings he has received.  From that time he has been featured in commercial shoots like National Geographics/ Geico, BG&E, Southern Maryland Hospital and US Army. Television work including Investigation Discovery Channels Nightmare Next Door, Happily Never After and Deadly Affairs. Othere television appearances include HBO's  VEEP.  More recently Aaron has been cast for a principal role in an upcoming Will Interactive movie entitled “A Special Trust” which completed filming August 2012. He makes an appearance in the Sci-Fi thriller by M. Knight Shymalan and Will Smith called “After Earth” and “Paranoia” starring Liam Hemsworth and Harrison Ford all due to release in the spring and summer of August 16,2013. He has tackled several roles as doctors, business professionals and military personnel through recent industrial and educational film productions and commercials.

 

As of February 2014 the recent release of the "The Heart" TV series on the CW Network- Richmond has sparked conversation and viewership for the rise in Political Drama's. Based on Iris Bollings romance novel series, The Heart was cast with an amazing line up of actors and has paved the way for an anticipated 6 seasons of drama and action. Aaron portrays the lead role of Assistant District Attorney, Jeffery Harrison who is out to fight crime and protect his family from the forces that live to see his death and fall.

 

Aaron has an upcoming project for a feature film called " Planter's Harvest" which will begin filming in June of 2014. Again portraying the lead role of "John" he is joined by another amazing cast of actors, including the hit television and movie star Tommy Ford (Martin Show). 

 

Fitness

Aaron has 15+ years of exercise design and training. Certified by American Fitness Association of America (AFAA) he has brought exercise knowledge, experience and a fun loving personality to hundreds of clients ranging in age from 12-84. Specializing in group format training, he has lead multiple: boot camps, cardio camps, strength & conditioning camps, circuit training, kick boxing, boxing and Tabata classes for the vast array of exercisers. Form and technique are critical in establishing exercise safety and confidence in each individual. 

 

The Goal for training his clients is to help them gain the success and results that they desire, but to also teach proper form and instill confidence in each client so that they are able to one day workout independently with the confidence and direction to aid and assist others, while maintaining their fit bodies. 

 

Fitness is a lifestyle. Being in shape is a lifestyle. The more that you dedicate yourself to living a life that shows that you are invested in your health, the better the return on life.  It's important to recognize that YOUR HEALTH IS YOUR WEALTH!!! No amount of financial gain or earthly possession can take the place of your health. For that reason Aaron stands strongly behind that statement. What are all the things worth if you are not hear for them, or if you live your life in pain, illness and daily regret.
